About MVHS

Miramichi Valley High School is home to 680 students and offers a vibrant, inclusive environment where school spirit is at the forefront of student life. Our school thrives on active participation in a variety of events and traditions, such as spirited theme days, pep rallies supporting our athletic teams, the Pulamoo, and cultural inclusivity initiatives that celebrate First Nations communities. MVHS fosters a sense of pride through these shared experiences, making it a place where everyone can feel connected.
We are proud of the academic excellence and student achievements at MVHS, celebrating students’ hard work through scholarships, bursaries, and awards. Our inclusive and supportive community has gained national recognition, particularly for its support of Special Olympics, showcasing our commitment to students of all abilities. With over 50 years of tradition, MVHS boasts a rich history and school pride, highlighted by our beloved mascot, the Pulamoo, and long-running tournaments and events.
