A $1000 scholarship will be offered to a grade 12 student who meets the criteria outlined below.

Criteria:

• Completed Application
• Graduating from Miramichi Valley High School.
• Applications are open to students pursuing any career, but preference will be given to those pursuing careers in trades, corrections, or attending community college.
• Academic achievement not he primary basis of the award.
• Consideration of financial need—preference will be given to students who have sought employment while pursing their high school education.
• Please include a ½-1 page write-up outlining why you meet the criteria.

Completed applications must be returned to the main office or Ms. O’Donnell by 3pm on Friday, May 15^th, 2026, for consideration. 

A $1000 scholarship will be offered to a grade 12 student who is attending a recognized post-secondary institution.

Criteria:

• Completed Application
• Graduating from Miramichi Valley High School.
• Applicants must be hard-working students who are pursuing a career that uses math—business, engineering, science, etc.
• Academic achievement is not primary basis of the award.
• Consideration of financial need.
• Please include a ½-1 page write-up outlining why you meet the criteria.

Completed applications must be returned to the main office or Ms. O’Donnell by 3pm on Friday, May 15^th, 2026, for consideration. 

A $1000 scholarship will be offered to a grade 12 student who is pursuing post-secondary (college/university) education. Preference will be given to someone entering a trade or technology program.

Applications must include:

1. Completed Application
2. Essay—500 Words—Stating why the applicant is interested in going into a trades/technology field.  

Completed applications must be returned to the main office or Ms. O’Donnell by 3pm on Friday, May 15^th, 2026 for consideration. 

A $300 bursary will be offered to a grade 12 student who is attending a recognized post-secondary institution (college/university). Preference will be given to a student who has been an active participant in the MVHS Drama Club throughout their high school years.

• Graduating from Miramichi Valley High School.

Completed applications must be returned to the main office or Ms. O’Donnell by 3pm on Friday, May 15^th, 2026, for consideration. 

A $300 bursary will be offered to a grade 12 student who is attending a recognized post-secondary institution (college/university). Preference will be given to a student who has taken the Law 120 course in high school or plans to pursue a career in law/criminal justice (lawyer, law enforcement, etc.) in the future.
