After several years, the halls of Miramichi Valley High School (MVHS) came alive once again with the sound of laughter and music as the much anticipated Winter Formal made its return.
The excitement had been building for weeks as students and staff worked together to decorate the lobby and school cafeteria into a winter wonderland.
It was clear that this wasn’t just a night for the students—it was a collective moment for everyone at the school, staff included, to come together and enjoy the season.
Over 400 students attended, and the dance floor was alive with energy. No one stood still for long. Perhaps the most encouraging part of the night was the overwhelming display of good behavior. Teacher chaperones were very impressed with the students in attendance.
For MVHS, this Winter Formal would go down in history not just as a memorable event, but as the first step in returning to normalcy—a night where everyone, from students to staff, danced the night away and celebrated the season.
